About
Dr. Poorman grew up in Southern California. Her love of animals started at a young age and she knew very early on she wanted to become a veterinarian when she grew up. Dr. Poorman completed a BS in Animal Science at North Carolina State University and initially worked as a veterinary technician in Connecticut. She then obtained her DVM degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her final clinical year at University of Minnesota.
