Every day that I work as a veterinarian, I am thankful for the opportunities that allowed me to pursue this rewarding career. I was very lucky to have parents that instilled in me a love and respect for animals. I grew up with all sorts of pets…dogs, cats, ducks, hamsters, mice, birds, a ferret, and even three pet skunks.
