Dr. Tamara (Tammy) Chastain earned her veterinary degree in 2003 from Purdue University. She spent her first five years of practice in Sheridan, Indiana focusing on equine and small animal medicine. She joined Alexandria Animal Hospital in 2008. In early 2016, she had the opportunity to fulfill a long-time dream of becoming a practice owner and purchased Alexandria Animal Hospital from Dr. Larry Owen.
