Dr. McCloskey is originally from California and moved to Northern Virginia in 4th grade. She attended Stanford University and Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 1987. There she met and married Rodney Bachtell DVM, a graduate of the class of 1987. She has lived and practiced in Franklin and Adams County since graduation.
