Born and raised in Oregon, Linx received her Bachelor of Arts from Willamette University and then spent 2 years in Bend, OR working as a Veterinary Assistant for her aunt, who is also a vet. She then moved back to Western Oregon to get her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oregon State University.
