Dr. Chattin was born in Lubbock, but grew up in the DFW area. Being a third-generation Red Raider, Texas Tech was a natural choice for him to complete his undergraduate studies at. During that time, he worked under Drs. Clary, Cunningham, and Wolfe as a technician gaining valuable experience before heading off to veterinary school at Texas A&M.
