About
Dr. Laurie Tassano was born and raised in Marin County. She decided she wanted to become a veterinarian at a very young age after a vet came to speak to her 3rd grade class on Career Day. She started working at a small animal hospital when she was 14 years old and spent time volunteering for such local organizations as the Marin Humane Society, Guide Dogs for the Blind, and the Marine Mammal Center.
