About

Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, I moved to Dallas, Texas when I was 8 years old. I attended Rice University receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. Midway through undergrad, while volunteering at the local animal shelter, I found my calling helping animals. This led me to attend Texas A&M where I received a doctorate of veterinary medicine. I married my husband, Dr. Alec Wynne, in February 2023.
