About
Dr. Santiago grew up in Chicago and the Chicago suburbs. Since childhood she has had a huge love and passion for animals. She received her bachelor’s degree and doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois in 2007. While in veterinary school she was able to complete rotations at Brookfield Zoo, the Shedd Aquarium and a Wildlife Center in Virginia.
