Dr. Thurston graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. She received graduation awards for excellence in surgery, medicine, and theriogenology. Following graduation, she completed an internship at the Mid-Atlantic Equine Medical Center and then completed a three year surgical residency at the University of Pennsylvania’s New Bolton Center, finishing in 2023.
